Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Our representative will welcome you at the Delhi airport and assist you in hotel transfer and check-in at hotel in Delhi. Over night stay at hotel in Delhi.In case your flight arrives in the day time and there is sufficient time for a short tour in Delhi, visit Akshardham temple where the history and culture of India are described in an exquisite way through a boat ride and sound and light show using the latest technology.
Day 02: Sightseeing Tour in Delhi
Delhi, the national capital of India, is a city where the past blends with present. The imprints of Mughals and British in the form of monuments, Indian traditions and western trends co-exist in Delhi.Post breakfast sightseeing tour in Delhi. Visit the major tourist attractions in Delhi- Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Lotus Temple, Rajghat, Humayun's Tomb and India Gate.Over night stay at hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi-Mandawa (257 km) & Sightseeing tour in Mandawa
On this day of Rajasthan Heritage Tour, proceed to Mandawa after an early morning breakfast. Mandawa located in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan is renowned for its fresco havelis. Founded in 18th century, Mandawa is called the "open art gallery" as the painted walls of the havelis possess unique murals and frescos reflecting the impact of time on Indian culture and traditions.Check in at hotel in Mandawa and relax and refresh before going for a sightseeing tour in Rajasthan Mandawa. Explore the graceful havelis of Mandawa where once lived the rich merchants belonging to the Shekhawati clan of Rajputs.

Day 04: Mandawa-Bikaner (200 km) & Sightseeing Tour in Bikaner
On the fourth day of Rajasthan Heritage Tour, after an early morning breakfast drive to Bikaner situated amidst the Thar Desert. Bikaner is very famous for sweets and snacks.On arrival in Bikaner, check in at hotel in Bikaner. After relaxing and refreshing, go for a sightseeing tour in Bikaner. Visit the camel research farm, Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, Karni Mata Temple and other tourist attractions in Bikaner.

Day 05: Bikaner-Jaisalmer (333 km) & Sightseeing Tour in Jaisalmer
After an early morning breakfast, travel to Jaisalmer by car. Jaisalmer is called the Golden City for it stands on the yellowish sandstone ridge adorned with spectacular havelis, temples and palaces crowned by a fort. On arrival in Jaisalmer, check in at a hotel and relax to shed your fatigue.In the evening, go for a sightseeing tour in Jaisalmer. Day 06: Camel Safari Tour in Jaisalmer
The sixth day of Rajasthan Heritage Tour is going to be the most relished experience of your tour in India which you will cherish life-long. In the heart of Great Indian Desert, Thar Desert, a camel safari at Khuri sand dunes will take away your breath. The desert sands of Khuri sand dunes change their hues during different parts of the day.Overnight halt at the tented camp at Khuri sand dunes/ return to hotel in Jaisalmer by night.
Day 07: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur (264 km) & Sightseeing Tour in Jodhpur
Umaid Bhawan On this day of Rajasthan Heritage Tour, early morning transfer to hotel in Jaisalmer, (if night stay was at campsite). After breakfast drive to the next destination-Jodhpur, the Sun City of India. Day 08: Jodhpur-Udaipur (266 km) & Sightseeing Tour in Udaipur
On the eighth day of Rajasthan Heritage Tour, drive to the romantic City of Lakes, Udaipur. On arrival in Udaipur, check-in at hotel in Udaipur and spend the day at leisure. In the evening, we take you for a boat ride at Lake Pichola. Over night stay at hotel in Udaipur.Day 09: Sightseeing Tour in Udaipur
Post breakfast sightseeing tour in Udaipur, the Venice of the East. On this day visit Shilpgram and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal in the first half of the day and Fateh Sagar Lake, Monsoon Palace, Jagdish Temple and City Palace in the second half of the day. Over night stay at hotel in Udaipur.
Day 10: Udaipur-Pushkar (250 km) & sightseeing tour in Pushkar (temples)
Post early morning breakfast drive to Pushkar. Pushkar known as the City of Temples is home to 400 temples and 52 ghats. The only Brahma Temple is situated at Pushkar.Check-in at hotel in Pushkar and spend some time at leisure before leaving for a sightseeing tour in Pushkar. On this day, during your sightseeing tour in Pushkar visit the temples of Pushkar- Brahma Temple, Savitri Temple, Apteshwar Temple, Ramavaikunth Temple, Rangji Temple and Mahadev Temple. Day 11: Sightseeing tour in Pushkar (ghats), Pushkar-Jaipur (145 km), Evening tour to Chokhi Dhani.
Chowki Dhani On this day of Rajasthan Heritage Tour, wake up early in the morning to visit the ghats of Pushkar. The picturesque vistas of saints and pilgrims taking holy dips in the sacred Pushkar Lake and performing rituals and yoga with bells of temples chiming in the background are breathtaking. Day 12: Sightseeing Tour in Jaipur
Amber Fort After breakfast leave for a full day sightseeing tour in Jaipur. At the outset of the Jaipur city tour, enjoy elephant ride from the base of a hill to its top where the majestic Amber Fort magnificently located. Explore the Amber Fort and then proceed to visit the other sightseeing places in Jaipur- Jaigarh Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar (an astronomical observatory) etc.Over night stay at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 13: Jaipur-Agra (233km) & Sightseeing tour in Agra
On the thirteenth day of Rajasthan Heritage Tour depart from Jaipur. A heritage tour in India is just incomplete without visiting the Taj Mahal. So the destination Agra has also been added to the Rajasthan Heritage Tour itinerary. Post breakfast drive to Agra. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, abode of a few UNESCO World Heritage Site- the palace and the fort. This deserted city situated on the way to Agra from Jaipur houses a few masterpieces of Mughal architecture.On arrival in Agra, check-in at hotel in Agra and proceed for a sightseeing tour in Agra. Explore the epitome of love, Taj Mahal; visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and visit the markets of Agra. Over night stay at hotel in Agra.
Day 14: Taj Mahal Morning Tour, Agra-Delhi (204 km) & Departure
Taj Mahal Outset your day with a morning tour to Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal looks awesomely beautiful when the first rays of sun fall on its dome and the whole white marble beauty changes its hue in milky-pink. Post breakfast drive to Delhi. En-route visit Sikandra where the tomb of Akbar is situated which is a blend of the Hindu, Islamic, Jain, Buddhist and Christian motifs.

I have not filled in my questionnaire on return from our recent holiday in Rajasthan because I wanted you all to know personally how grateful we are for the most awesome service provided to us by Go Heritage India Journeys.
We had an amazing time and this was thanks to the entire team of Go Heritage India Journeys, which was constantly by our side with any help that was required.
The guided tours were very courteous and the so were the chauffer drives from one destination to another. The hotel rooms were beautiful. The whole itinerary set up was perfectly planned which left us with relaxed time to enjoy every minute of our trip and the change of plans to go to Ranthanbhore was worth as we did spot a tiger!!
It was a trip that was completely stress-free and for that we are most grateful. Kudos for great job done!!!
