It is located in the north of Rajasthan, just 232 kilometres away from Bikaner city of Rajasthan. It is situated north of Rajasthan and is very near to the banks of River Ghaggar. Hanumangarh was known as Bhatner which has played an important role in the history of this place. Jallauddin took over the Fort, but eventually after the murder of the said ruler, the Bhatner Fort was taken over by the Rajputs of Bhatner.
