Dungarpur Rajasthan Tour Packages

Dungarpur Rajasthan Tour Dungarpur covers the area of about 3870 sq kilometres and was established during 1282 AD by Rawal Veer Singh. A great place to go for holy Hindu Pushakar pilgrimage centre which are all dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma. The place is also famous for the wild life which is found in varieties. Partridges, a species of bird are found all over the sanctuary along with several migratory birds which fly here from the nearby Bharatpur during the winter season. There are seasonal trees which are also found at Dungarpur District. These are Mahua, teazk, shal, khajur and Mangoes which are grown during the winter.

Baneshwar Fair : The fair is arranged during Ekadashi and Purnima every year. It is a set-up near the two riverside, i.e. Mahi and Som near Dungarpur.

Dungarpur Museum : It is one of the major attractions of Dungarpur which is presently known as "Rajmata Devendra Kunwar State Museum" as well as the centre for culture.

Gaib Sagar Lake : It is a massive lake which is one of the main attractions of Dungarpur and is famous for the plantations nearby to the banks of the river.

Juna Mahal : The castle stands 7 storied tall with stone walls with magnificently painted interiors, decorated with pictures and mirror works.

Udai Bilas Palace : An ideal example of finest Rajput art and architecture. An impeccable piece of architecture. This palace was made with the intention, to make it residential home for the royal family which was named after Mahrawal Udai Singh II. The palace is decorated beautifully with gorgeous pillars on the sides and carved arches. It also has a wide open balcony which absolutely looks gorgeous.

Urs- Galiyakot : It is a beautiful Dargah for the Ismalia Shai Muslims who offer their 'Ziyarat' in the dedication of Sayyed Fakruddin.

Dungarpur Excursions :

Baneshwar Temple : It is located on the banks of Mahi and Som River at Dungarpur. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and every year there is annual fair organized on that venue.

Baroda (Dungarpur) : It is famous for old Shiva temple and the Jain temples which have murals of 24 Tirthankaras which have black wall sculpted in an impeccable manner.

Bhuvaneshwar Temple : Holi is the prime festival celebrated with lots of colour and local tribes performing Gair Dance by the Bhil tribes. The fair has the major crown puller to this place.

Deo Somnath : It is a famous temple with monumental structure from the ancient India. The temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and has been sculpted in white stone during the 12th century.

Galiyakot : Every year the place is visited by several tourists who come here to offer prayers in the memory of Sayyed Fakhruddin.

Poonjpur : A temple is dedicated to 'Mavyi', the embodiment of Lord Krishna.

Fairs & Festivals of Dungarpur : An event of this fair happens during the month of February on the full moon on the banks of Som & Mahi River. The people from all over the country come to this place to take holy bath and the evening sets under fire with song and dance by the Bhill tribe.
