Abha Nagri, as called by the villagers, was founded by Raja Chand, the king at that time of the place. After excavation of this place the archaeologists have found several ruins from this place which has strong resemblance of the 10th century architectural and sculptural style. Just on the opposite of the temple, there lays a huge tank which is called as “Chand Baori”. Although the place remained with ruins, still this place has something nostalgic about itself. Now, the temple has been kept under a strict guidance and maintenance of Archaeological Department of Government of India. Every day the people around the place go to temple for worship and offerings to Goddesses Harshat Mata.

Abhaneri Tourist Attractions :

The Harshad Mata temple is the most desired place in Abhaneri. As a perfect example of the medieval period architecture, it is an auspicious temple to offer your praying.

Chand Baoli is nearby to the temple. It is 10th century structured building which stands erected with at least 3500 steps and 100 feet deep. A fine architectural evidence of medieval period in India.

Dausa: It is a traditional place which falls in the eastern region of Rajasthan. The Dausa Kingdom belongs to Kacchawaha rulers and is famous for the architectural brilliance which is observed at a mere sight of the monuments and the forts established at Dausa.
